Born and raised in the Bronx, Carol attended Cornell University as an undergraduate and she obtained her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Carol and her husband are residents of Harrison and their 3 children live in Manhattan, Washington DC, and Richmond Virginia. In her spare time, Carol enjoys doing Zumba, boxing, traveling, and reading. Joan Rosen, Membership Like many of us, Joan first became involved in volunteer work as a member of her local PTA, serving as co-president of the Murray Avenue School PTA and later as co-chair of the Larchmont Mamaroneck PT Council. After retiring from her professional career 2008, she became more active as a Westchester community volunteer – on the board of Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic for more than 10 years, serving as chair from 2018-19 and continuing to serve on several committees; as president of her synagogue in White Plains, co chairing a capital campaign and helping to lead the congregation’s racial justice efforts; and as a volunteer at UJA Federation of New York. Joan has a BS from Cornell University and a JD from the NYU School of Law. She has practiced law and, following her PTA and PT Council service, was the Director of Public Information for the Mamaroneck Union Free School District. Joan has lived in Larchmont for 34 years, where she and her husband raised their son and daughter. When not volunteering, Joan loves spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren. She also enjoys golf, hiking and travel. Andrea Meyer, Secretary Andrea has served as Grant Review Committee Co-chair for many grant cycles and has been a dedicated member of Impact100 Westchester since our founding. Diane Hirschberg, TreasurerDiane was a career commercial and investment banker most recently with BMO Capital Markets, specializing in delivering foreign exchange & capital markets products to corporations and institutional investors. Diane retired in 2015 and embarked on a second career as an insurance broker and an enthusiastic and engaged nonprofit volunteer. In 2017, Diane completed a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership at Fordham University. Since. In 2018 Diane became a licensed NY State health and life insurance agent, helping individuals under 65, and small businesses and nonprofits navigate the complex and frustrating health insurance market. Diane’s nonprofit volunteer activities underscore her passion and commitment to support the nonprofit sector. Diane is on the Executive Board of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Westchester/Fairfield Chapter. Diane also is a member of the Women’s Bond Club in NYC, and a past co-chair the Charitable Giving Committee.
